Dear Google Employees,

I hope this message finds you well.

Recently, we received some feedback regarding an incident that occurred within our company that was completely unacceptable. I want to take this opportunity to address the issue and apologize to all of our employees.

As the CEO of Google, it is my responsibility to ensure a safe and inclusive work environment for all of our employees. Unfortunately, we fell short in this regard and for that, I am truly sorry.

We made a mistake and we got it wrong. There is no excuse for the behavior that was exhibited and I want to assure you that we are taking immediate action to address the issue.

It is important for us as a company to uphold our values of respect and equality in everything we do. We must hold ourselves accountable for any missteps and strive to do better moving forward.

I want to encourage everyone at Google to speak up if they witness or experience any form of discrimination or harassment. Your voices matter and we are committed to creating a safe space where everyone feels valued and respected.

In conclusion, I want to reiterate my sincere apologies for the incident that occurred. We are working diligently to rectify the situation and ensure that it does not happen again in the future. Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work. Sincerely, Sundar Pichai CEO, Google
