Step 1: Open Your UPI App

The first step in changing or resetting your UPI PIN is to open the UPI app on your smartphone. This could be any of the popular UPI apps such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM.

Step 2: Go to the Settings Menu

Once you’ve opened the app, navigate to the settings menu. This can usually be found by tapping on your profile picture or initials at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Select ‘Change/Reset UPI PIN’

In the settings menu, look for an option that says ‘Change/Reset UPI PIN’ or something similar. Click on this option to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Verify Your Identity

To change or reset your UPI PIN, you will need to verify your identity. This could involve entering a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or answering security questions.

Step 5: Enter A New Four-Digit PIN

Once you have successfully verified your identity, you will be prompted to enter a new four-digit UPI PIN of your choice. Make sure to choose a secure and memorable PIN that is not easy for others to guess.

Step 6: Confirm Your New UPI PIN

To complete the process, you will need to confirm your new four-digit UPI PIN by entering it again. This is to ensure that you have entered the correct digits and avoid any mistakes.

Step 7: Save Changes And You’re Done!

After confirming your new UPI PIN, save the changes and exit the settings menu. Congratulations! You have successfully changed or reset your four-digit UPI PIN and can now access your account with ease.
